Kids have all the fun!

I've been noticing a lot of my friends with kids have been posting about "Elf on the Shelf" so I looked into it. Apparently, it's this little Elf doll that you name, and you can make it do funny things. From what I can tell, it's another way to convince the kids that "Santa" is watching via his little Elf so that they behave. Anything that works, right?

So after seeing some of their posts, I realized that I WANT ONE! Why do kids get to have all the fun!? This little doll thing (albeit somewhat creepy) does some really funny stuff! The only problem is, I'd have to come up with all the ideas and essentially "hide" it from myself. That's not weird, is it? Here are some of my favorite Elf on Shelf photos:
