I love long weekends, but sometimes I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation. For the 4th we went to a friends lakehouse at Lake McQueeny. It was a typical fun lake weekend: yard games, tubing, lodge-a-ritas, a rib off and a whooooooooooole lotta wine. I don't have any photos since I left my camera at home and my iPhone was messed up (another reason to hate AT&T), but I was able to capture a few photos of the fireworks at the Lakeside CC celebration.
The international space shuttle flew over us around 9pm (this may not be the ISS, but gives you an idea of what it looked like....sorta)

All the "wow's" you hear are me. I'm easily excited by fireworks.
