Another Bus Blawg Rebuttal

On Monday, I blawged about how "green" San Fran mass transit was (zero emission buses running on cables, trolleys running on cables etc). I was informed of the following:

Blawg Fan: Most, if not all, of Houston Metro's buses used to run on CNG/LNG since the late 90's. There was supposedly some type of fiasco with the supply chain and thus the prompt to move to diesel-hybrids.

Me: Does that mean we used to have hybrids but then switched to diesel??

Blawg Fan: Nope, we had LNG/CNG, then they retired some and replaced with Diesel-Hybrids (yes, a hybrid that runs on diesel, instead of gas).

I see the blank stares through your computer screens. Basically what that means is that Houston IS doing it's part (although very little).
