It's my (sorta, kinda, but premature) birthday!

Since I'll be out the country on my actual birthday (I'll be in Krakow...totes normal) I decided that today would be my pseudo-birthday celebration, complete with a friendly get together at my favorite watering hole, Kenneally's. My day had a super start, with some super pretty flowers that arrived at my desk after a grueling 1.5 hour teleconference.

I know it doesn't look like an orchid, but it's there. Also, these roses stem (get it, har har) from an inside joke I share with the sender over this video.

Afterwards I went to lunch with my awesome coworkers, who bought me this "dino-mite" cake. It was yummy.
