Weekend of BEBE's

This past weekend was filled with babies! Well, technically unborn ones and toddlers. But still, BABIES!

First up was a baby shower for the glowing soon to be mommy Shannon. During the shower, they gave us a photo of mom and dad and asked us to create a "baby picture" of what we thought the baby would look like, using qualities from both parents. It was like arts n crafts time, and by the below,  you can see who the artistic ones in the bunch are and are not....

After the shower, we went to Tara's house to watch Bray for the night. He's 2 years old and FULL OF ENERGY. And by that I mean I'm still tired from watching him for 2 hours. Tara's preggo with her 2nd so I can just imagine how hard it is keeping an eye on this one. But our time with him was previous. We read him a few books, played trains on the coffee table, put him in his PJ's (it took 2 of us about 10 minutes) and he was asleep by 8! Then, wine. Obviously wine.

Not happy after mom and dad left. But then, not even 30 seconds later, his focus was back on Wonder Veggies or whatever it was with the ghetto turtle.

 Reading books. It seems like every child's book has a clown, which is why i'm terrified to have kids. 

Such a fun time with my friends expecting their first or second kiddos!
