The winter season (and I used the term winter very loosely since we are in Texas...) got off to a bit of a rocky start...with week 1 being cancelled because of park construction and week 2 being rained out. So, official week 2 games took place this past Wednesday...and it was like we never missed a beat! This time it was Kickin' Klowns vs. Buntin' Uglies. If I had to summarize this game with one word, an appropriate one might be massacre. It's not like they were THAT much more athletic than we, or THAT much more quick on the bases than we...but something was just missing. It didn't help that the fields were still soaking from yet more rain, so every time we kicked about 3 pounds of dirt flew in our eyes (AH! That was their strategy!!)
